Anglican Mission to Uvalde

On Mission to Proclaim the Gospel of Christ to South Texas

The Mission

Our Story

Humble beginnings

If you have ever been a part of a church plant  before, you already know that the beginnings are usually humbling, requiring each member to live a life dedicated to the mission of the plant via prayer, giving, attendance, and constant encouragement for one another.  Church plants do not parachute into a cathedral, but rather they start in smaller settings where we worship together in Word and Sacrament.  It is in these beginning moments of a church plant where the members of the congregation grow to know, love, and serve one another.  It makes for a very strong foundation for the growth of the church in a community.

We can't wait to worship with you.

Always Forward is a collaborative effort of the Province, Dioceses, local churches and people of the Anglican Church in North America working together for the planting of new Gospel-centered, sacramental, missional churches throughout North America.

35 for 35 - A Cross-Jurisdictional Anglican Church Planting Community in Central Texas

Central Texas is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. 35 for 35 is a joint effort of 3 dioceses, several bishops, and a committed community of clergy and leaders in our area to bring about 35 new Anglican churches along the I-35 corridor. Church planting is the most effective means of reaching our neighbors with the Gospel. Pray that God would send more laborers into the harvest.
